The Eagle Roundtable is comprised of alumni CareerFOCUS Eagle Award™
winners who maintain active membership in NELI. One has to have received
the Eagle Award to be considered for Roundtable membership. The title — The
Eagle Roundtable — also identifies the annual leadership-development
roundtable facilitated by and for recipients of the Eagle Award.
Each incoming class develops a project based upon a critical condition
central to the well-being of African-American and Latino professionals and
the companies that support them. The class operates as a team to research
and develop findings fit for spirited discussion, debate, and sometimes,
conclusion, at the Eagle Roundtable Forum. This rich exchange of ideas adds
immeasurable value to the CareerFOCUS Eagle Award™ — continued opportunities
for development, leadership, and access to a powerful network of
professionals long after receiving the award.
Eagle classes are credited when their findings become the basis for a
published work — a feature article published nationally in CareerFOCUS
Magazine. It's just another great reason to nominate someone for the
distinguished Eagle Award.
