The targeted results are simple: students will attain skills for effective
leadership, colleges and universities will supplement their classroom
curriculum and expand career-placement options, and recruiters will discover
an amazing reservoir of talent for their organizations.
The CBA Leadership Challenge begins with a dilemma — an open question that
springboards small teams of students into riveting analysis, debate,
insight, and passionate persuasion. Students can expect a demanding,
engaging, proactive learning experience. Short of actually showing up for
work, it will feel as though you have entered the real world.
It is unlikely that the sessions will end with a tidy solution to the
challenge at hand. Instead, expect students to complete the program having
a deep appreciation for the complex factors at play, a clearer understanding
of how to think strategically, and new
insights into how to deal with the
untidy uncertainties of real business.
