to participate in Corporate Bound Academy™ come face to face with daily
challenges won and lost in the corporate arena. The Academy simulates a
boardroom or office environment in which you will work within a team to
solve daily business challenges. You will feel as though you're playing an
exciting game of strategy. In actuality, you will be learning critical
lessons in leadership that promise to take you far in your career. You will
practice strategic thinking and learn how to do more with less — less time,
less guidance, fewer resources, and fewer people.
Corporate Bound Academy™ supplements your college education by introducing
skill - sets rarely covered in the traditional classroom setting. The
Academy's goal is to prepare you for success in any business environment,
regardless of your college major, intended profession, chosen industry, or
starting position. Some employers refer to the curriculum as soft skills
training. We think of it as make-or-break-your-success training — things that
you're expected to know, but no one teaches. When you arrive on the job,
you're expected to know your business and many other things, including:
